Handmade Christmas Stocking - Patchwork

This is my regular sized Christmas Stocking assembled using a special selection of quality fabrics. It's a real joy for me assembling these.
The stocking is made up of different sections of fabrics and textures. One of the sections is punch hooked with a chunky bright yellow wool to give a lovely soft textured area other sections are built up with more fabric or pops of wool. I've used a lovely woven navy fabric, bleeched denim and cotton twill, and the hook is a navy cotton to coordinate. It's backed with a sturdy white twill too. I'm using old fabrics rather than buying new to try to limit my environmental impact from the cotton industry, which means you can feel better about your purchase too!

Although I'm making more of these each one will vary slightly.

I do a larger size too
